Job Title: Geospatial Technician (LiDAR/Photogrammetry)
Reporting To: Head of Geospatial Solutions and Processing
Purpose of Job
Provide technical support and solutions, conduct daily technical project-related tasks
Principal Responsibilities
To provide technical support, mainly in the area of LiDAR processing
Day to day
- LiDAR data development & manipulation
- Quality control to ensure specifications are met
- Providing technical support to Geospatial Analysts, the production team and other staff as required in the areas of LiDAR and GIS
Geospatial Technician
- LiDAR data extraction
- LiDAR data calibration
- Point cloud classification, both automatic and manual
- Creation of products such as DTMs, DSMs and contours
- Undertake technical research where required to keep abreast of industry developments & best practice
- Maintain the system of data development and storage
- Undertake GIS/Photogrammetry tasks as required

Qualifications and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s in a geospatial discipline & 1+ years of relevant industry experience
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Relevant technical experience
