Our team of professional staff offers the highest quality Geo-spatial Technical Service, Solutions and Support geared towards deployment and development of customer-centric Survey, Remote Sensing, GIS and Mapping programs designed to meet the client's requirements.

|Daniel Haywood - Chief Executive Officer |
Daniel started Ramani Communications in 1999. He has over 9 years of experience in the GIS, planning and mapping sector and extensive experience in all aspects of Survey, Cartography, and Photogrammetry.
Daniel has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Newcastle in England and prior to forming Ramani spent several years working in Telecoms and IT in London.
Nick Bateman – Chief Operations Officer
Nick joined Ramani as the Chief Operations Officer in 2011. He brings with him over 15 years experience of delivering projects in countries all over Africa & specializes in ensuring that best practice is followed and operational efficiency is optimised.
Nick has a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from Exeter University in UK. He is proficient with project management software and is focused upon high quality project delivery within time and cost.
|Boniface Mworia - Head of GIS|
Boniface joined Ramani in 2007 in the GIS Department. He is brings to the table, analytical and data enhancement skills. Boni is responsible for overall GIS & Mapping Department Strategic direction, Technical and Infrastructure support, Spatial data /product development and Team Building.
Boniface is proficient in use a wide variety of software applications including MS-Office, ArcView, ArcGIS, IDRISI, ERDAS Imagine and SPSS. He has worked with Save the Elephants as a consulting GIS and Environmental Expert, UNDP/COMPACT project and CETRAD as the in-house GIS and Environmental expert.
Boniface holds a BA Degree in Geography and MA in Urban Planning from the University of Nairobi.
Wycliffe Abiero - Head of Land Survey
Wycliffe Abiero holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying from the University of Nairobi and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (strategic Management) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He has an array of experience in relevant Information Technology applications.
Wycliffe is a registered approved survey assistant in Kenya. He has significant experience in undertaking surveying practices including Cadastral (legal surveys - under the direction of the Registered Surveyor), Geodetic (Control) , Engineering & Terrestrial Scanning, Monitoring & Deformation, and Topographical. His technical expertise spans from application, customization, and training on numerous core geospatial industry relevant software and hardware.
Wycliffe holds several professional certifications from recognized geospatial industry software and hardware giants.
|Linnet Otieno - General Manager Business Support Services|
Linnet is a qualified Certified Public Accountant, trained at Strathmore University in Kenya and is in charge of Finance and Administration. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and the Strathmore University Alumni, professional associations.
Prior to joining Ramani Communications she worked at Concorde Container Services as the Accounts and Administration Manager.

Vincent Kimaiyo - Head of Remote Sensing
Vincent joined Ramani in 2006 as a surveyor. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Surveying and Photogrammetry) Second Class Honors from the University of Nairobi. Vincent has worked his way up in the Remote Sensing Department from a Photogrammetry Technician cum Camera Operator to Senior Photogrammetrist. His promotion to as Head of Remote Sensing, his duties are looking after any Aerial works undertaken by Ramani.
