Reporting To: Sales Manager/Bid Manager

Purpose of Job
Responsible for all sales activities within the Business Development. To develop and implement agreed upon sales/marketing plans to meet business goals to expand customer base. Works within the team to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation in line with the organizations vision and values.
Principal Responsibilities
- To sell a variety of company products
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace informationon similar products
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients
- Develop annual business in conjunction with the Sales Manager/Bid Manager, which details activities to follow during the year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Keep team informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly/quarterly/half yearly and annual results
- Develop a data base of leads through referrals, telephone calls, cold calls, direct mail, email and/or networking
- Assist in the implementation of company plans when required
- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow up activities
- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients and prospects
- Maintains contact with all clients to ensure high level of client satisfaction
- Proactively maintain effective working team relationship
- Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree in Geospatial
- At least 1 - 2 years industry experience - an added advantage

Practical Requirements: Live in Nairobi. Willing to travel outside Nairobi/Kenya/Works extended hours
